NEW - The Remix Project

Previous MPfreeEPs
These four tracks were recorded live at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA on October 16, 2002, from a board tape by their excellent soundman. Our Lady Of The Highways features Philip Price on duet vocal. The other three tracks have Robert Lloyd on either Mandolin or Accordion. Hamlet was written by Adam MacNaughton, and adapted by JWH from the a capella version by Martin Carthy, as featured on The Carthy Chronicles boxed set on Free Reed. So We Don't Live Alone is JWH's translation of the French song Pour Ne Pas Vivre Seul, which JWH saw in the new Ozon movie 8 Women, and then found on a compilation CD by Dalida from which he translated this version, with the help of Nigel Hinton. The song is written by S. Balasko - D. Faure - Medail. The other two songs are written by JWH and taken respectively from The Confessions Of St.Ace (Our Lady Of The Highways, duet originally performed by Steve Earle) and JWH's New Deal (Kiss Me Miss Liberty). Download and enjoy.
